Aerial Drone Surveys
Rectrix Drone Services understands the safety aspects connected to a drone survey.
We have a strong team with over 30 years of experience working within the high hazard industry. Prior to every flight a full risk assessment is carried out as well as a full method statement. During a drone survey we use the latest sensor technology from our high end optical, LIDAR and thermal sensors. We can map large areas in a fraction of the time compared to traditional methods and produce actionable models to work with some of the latest BIM (Business Information Modelling) software.
A drone survey mitigates standard risks of ground based methods with access required only once work begins. Overall site shots detect issues that may not be visible via traditional methods.
3D accurate data
Compared with traditional methods, drone surveys cover larger areas in a fraction of the time. Actionable data is received more frequently at the survey site whilst stockpiles are constantly monitored.
Drone surveys pick up issues early and constant monitoring means problems are rectified fast. Tagging alerts leaders to missing assets. Projects run on time as materials can be ordered before running out.
Post Flight Analysis
Rectrix uses in house experts to create usable and actionable data for teams to analyse which they can make informed decisions from. A range of data can be produced to work with your current in house BIM software.

Cut Costs – Reduce Risk – Save Time
The advantage of drone surveys means that live monitoring of build projects allows clients to make sure a project is evolving as it should whilst highlighting any issues that may be occurring during the build process. Clients benefit by cutting costs, reducing risk and saving time. With access to more up to date data you can monitor materials in and out of the project as well as the site itself. Additional advantages include rapid deployment which in comparison to traditional methods of survey cover larger areas in less time. Using a drone for survey work allows for constant monitoring of the site across regular intervals as an area can be covered in a fraction of the time.
A drone survey will produce a range of data spanning from volumetric analysis of stockpiles, 3D models and point clouds. Customer focus is important to us and we are happy to work with our clients to determine necessary data and investigate the possibility of this being created via our drones.
